Overview
This project was a collaborative effort between UX and UI designers to develop an innovative solution: maintained constant communication, offering valuable insights throughout the process.
Solutions
Centralized Control: The app unifies control of all smart home devices from different manufacturers into one interface, simplifying user experience and enhancing convenience.
Automated Routines and Schedules: The app allows users to create automated routines and schedules for devices, improving energy efficiency and security by automating tasks like adjusting the thermostat or turning off lights.
Energy Efficiency: By automating device operations based on usage patterns and schedules, the app helps reduce energy consumption by turning off unused devices and adjusting settings for energy savings.
Userflow
To define the architecture of the application it is very important to establish the hierarchy through the userflow. With them it also helps us to organize the different functionalities according to their category, so the bases of this userflow were going to be: Home, Control, Automation and Owners.
Digital wireframes

Mockups for controlling
Taking a step beyond wireframes, I set out to create mockups. In this case, I followed the 60, 30, 10 rule to create mockups with a clear harmony of colors, where 60 is the background white, 30 the dark blue and finally the electric blue would be the accent/action color.
Mockups for automation
In the mockups for the automations I included some icons for each scene more friendly and fun for the user. He himself could include the icon he wants from the icons that allows the mobile keyboard.
Mockups for new devices
The key was to make the linking process clear and simple. To begin with, we would have to define in which room this device would be located, then find the device we were going to link in the device library. We would enter the wifi network and finally it would be linked with the QR on the product itself or with the code indicated on it.
Learnings
What I take away from this project is the opportunity to apply the knowledge I gained during my previous experience working at Airzone. In that company, the focus was solely on climate control through the app, without incorporating other smart devices.
However, I believe that home and office automation should be fully integrated—everything should work together seamlessly. Today, the concept of the Internet of Things is incredibly powerful, allowing devices to interact with each other and simplify our lives. Many repetitive tasks can now be streamlined with applications like this one.
This project has helped me expand my understanding of climate control and apply it to other devices such as lights, switches, and smart doors.
